Curt's putting the hurt on the 45 to 49 age group records -- knocking out the 200 back time set in 1991 by 45 seconds -- among other respectable slots. Shipp's still hanging on to the team's 100 free record with a time of 55.42. He'll need a 53 to stave off the Stealth Shark who's swimming even faster than he did when doing damage to the younger age group.

Rumor is Emad's going to swim Nationals (ok, maybe I'm starting that rumor) once he turms 40 to start putting some balance back in the 40 to 44 year old age group bracket.

Behind him, do I see a new 200 fly record (E-M-A-D OUT!) -- perhaps a 500 free record from 1993 being shown the door?
