A braggot is half beer, half mead, a brew
where most of the fermentable sugars should come from honey instead of
malt. This was a big hit, and is ready to drink after minimal aging, but
can be bottle-conditioned to improve. |

This beer was made with fresh Lemon Balm (a
plant in the mint family) from a friend's garden, and it leant a lemony
smell and herbal flavor to the brew. |

a few gallons of apple juice instead of water, but then I found some good
frozen mangoes. Of course, I had already bought the ingredients for the
apple beer, so it's an odd recipe. |
