| notes |
- Crush grains, steep at 150º-155º for 30 minutes.
- Trader Joe's had frozen mango cubes for 99¢ a pound,
so I bought three. The mango flavor is subtle, but blends nicely. If you
want a lot of mango, use 4-5 lbs.
- Before racking to secondary, dump the mangoes in and
rack the beer on top of them. Dispose of them after racking to tertiary.
- This beer turned out very dark, but has good body and
is very smooth for such a strong beer.
