- Crush grains, steep at 160º-170º for 30 minutes.
- The OG (and % alcohol) are estimates only. My reading
was 1.058, which is obviously low. I think I may not have stirred the wort
enough after topping it off.
- I think I got the nutmeg taste just right. However, I
also agree with the judges at the '96 Capital District Open, who noted
that it was a bit thin on body and lacked enough other flavors to balance
the nutmeg.
