| Sour mash the grains: Crush them and place in grain bags.
Put in picnic cooler with one gallon 95º water, seal, and wait 24
hours. Use the water to brew with. Only boil for 45 minutes to keep color
light. |
| This fermented explosively. I don't know if that's due
to the sour mash or the yeast, but I may use a different strain next time. |
| Also, this wasn't quite sour enough. I will use 3 lbs
of grain for the sour mash next time and make sure to drain the bags better. |
