¤ 01 National Botanical Garden (Outside) ¤
March 16, 2002 ~ the conservatory was under construction the entire time we lived in D.C., and has only just re-opened. Counting driving time & metro time, it took us about 3 1/2 hours to get there from Charlottesville. It was small and crowded, but just packed with beautiful exotic things to look at (and to take pictures of!).
