November 2001 ~ The Rivanna Trails Foundation has set about builidng a hiking trail that completely encircles Charlottesville. They're about 2/3 done. I've just discovered that part of the completed section starts a 10 minute walk from my apartment, so of course I had to do a little exploring. Didn't get too far as I kept stopping to take pictures, but I'll definitely be going back. I can't wait to see what it looks like in spring!
